Boy Scout Requirements This invaluable resource -- run by the Boy Scouts Of America National Council -- shows current BSA requirements and information needed for advancement.
MeritBadge.Org A spectacular Site containing requirements for all current merit badges, plus helpful links and worksheets/aids for most. Graphical pleasing, well organized and frequently updated.
Troop 24's Merit Badge Resources This Berkeley, CA troop presents a set of links to a variety of merit badge related topics.

Ten Mile River Scout Camps The official GNYC Site for TMR containing everything about the TMR program.
Alpine Scout Camp A GNYC short-term camp and home of Reeves Cub World. Located 10 miles north of the GWB in Alpine, NJ.
William H. Pouch Scout Camp A GNYC short term camp located on Staten Island.
Clear Lake Scout Reservation A 1,400 acre camp operated by Westchester-Putnam Council in Putnam Valley, NY.
Ernest Thompson Seton Scout Reservation The camp operated by Greenwich Council (CT).
Palisades Historical Trails A set of two trails, one above the cliffs (the beginning of the Long Path) and one on the shore of the Hudson, that travel from the George Washington Bridge to Camp Alpine (NNJC). These trails are sponsored by the Northern New Jersey Council. An historical trail patch is available for hiking either, and a trail medal is available for hiking both. The trails are closed from December through February for safety
Quail Hill Scout Reservation The camp operated by Monmouth Council and is located near Freehold, NJ. It is also the starting point for the 11 mile Battle of Monmouth Historical Trail run by Na Tsi Hi Lodge. A trail medal, patch, and mug are available to those who complete the trail.

U.S. Space Camp One of five international space camps, the US Space Camp is located at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, AL. Scouting programs include the Space Exploration merit badge.
Leave No Trace  
Appalachian Trail Conference Official Site for the AT, a marked footpath of over 2100 miles that runs from Maine to Georgia. Over 160 miles of the AT is in New York and New Jersey.
New York - New Jersey Trail Conference Organization of hiking clubs and environmental groups that, among other things, construct and maintain marked trails in the two states. Get information on the Appalachian Trail, Long Path, Palisades, etc.
BSA Camps.org A listing of scout camps and their facilities nationwide. See, in particular, pages for New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, including high adventure camps in the Adirondack Mountain Wilderness.
