Troop 240's Wintoree was a blast. If you look past the cold temperatures, we had a nice time. We made friends with another troop during our time there; Troop 353. When Troop 353 arrived, we introduced ourselves to everyone in their troop. After that, we started classes for merit badges. Luckily Troop 353 stayed and took the merit badge classes along with us. We had over 45 completed merit badges, some partials, and six rank advancements. Also we have 2 new Wood Badgers: Dino Forzano and Mary Ellen Willen. And I would like to congratulate them on completing their Wood Badge course. At night, we had a great bond fire and Troop 353 was luckily able to join us. Like any other camping trip, we had a selections of skits by both troops. I hope next year we have a Wintoree as good as this one!! -- Adam W., Troop Scribe.
