We camped at High Rock, which was a hike to get there. Our site was right next to a huge field. After everything was unpacked, the patrols were divided into two, so that each cabin had some members from each patrol. After lunch we were given free time and we played football. It was an excellent game, and it was very nice having the field right next to the campsite. After the game, it was time to start cooking dinner. Two of the patrols cooked pasta, another cooked tacos/burritos, and the last cooked macaroni. At night we had our usual excellent Camp Fire, and this time James N. was the MC. Before our cracker barrel, Scoutmaster Joe Acquafredda did an excellent presentation on the Scout Oath and Law. The next day we ate breakfast, packed up, and cleaned up the site. As usual, it was an excellent Troop 240 Overnight. -- James N., Troop Scribe (with Mary Ellen Willen).
