Troop 240 is located in Bronx, New York. The Riverdale Presbyterian Church sponsors us. Our Troop was established in 1910 and chartered in 1920. At the present, we have 119 Eagle Scouts with another group on the way next year.

The success of our Troop is attributed to several factors: the Troop leadership, the Troop Committee and the Scouts of our Troop. We strongly believe in training for every leader, Scout and Scouter. We believe in the Patrol Method and that the Youth Leaders run the Troop. We believe that every Scout, Scouter and parent has a role to play in the success of the Troop. Everyone is made to feel that the Troop is theirs. Troop 240 has a long and proud tradition of Scouts and Scouters who have embraced this concept. I am very proud to be Scoutmaster of Troop 240.
