Here are a fair number of photos dating back to 1962. Note the different scout uniform, the one that many of the older scouters in the Troop used when they were scout. In the September and October (Court of Honor) pictures, you'll see a number of older scouts wearing Explorer green uniforms. Much as a Venture patrol now, Explorers were 14 years old or above, and could choose to stay with a troop or join a post.

You'll also see a number of the older scouts wearing a blue neckerchief with blue piping, and you can see a large gold fleur-de-lis on the neckerchief in some of the photos. These were the 1962 Ten Mile River Staff neckerchiefs.

The troop is trying to collect as many of these images as possibile, so if you have any older troop photos or can help with the identification of the ones that are already up, your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Any photos we receive will be scanned, and the originals returned.
