First Class Emphasis (FCE) classes are held from 6:30 to 7:15 pm prior to the troop meeting. (These are indicated in the on-line calendar.) Please note that these are instructional sessions: the requirement will not be signed off at these classes. Testing for all requirements will continue to be done at any Troop meeting, hike, swim, or overnight.
Scouts needing requirements for the three basic ranks (or who just want to sharpen their skills) should make every effort to attend the appropriate FCE session. Read the Boy Scout Handbooksections pertaining to those requirements beforehand. The schedule allows for each basic rank requirement to be covered once a year. In addition, we will be holding supplemental alternate classes on specific requirements as the need presents itself.
